Titles in this Series Include:

Ebola: The Plague Fighters:
NOVA travels to the quarantined city of Kikwit in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to witness the battle against the Ebola virus, one of the world's most lethal diseases. The virus was first identified there in 1995. It often kills by dissolving victims' internal organs and connective tissue. Watch how disease specialists traced the origins of the Ebola outbreak by compiling a "chain of death" of the epidemic.

The Miracle of Life:
This Emmy Award-winning NOVA program follows the evolution of the fetus using microscopic photography. World-renowned Swedish photographer Lennar Nilsson examines the microscopic world of colors and forms deep inside the womb. See the egg as the ovary releases it, and follow the sperm from its early development. After the sperm fertilizes the egg, watch the growth of the single cell into an embryo, then a fetus, until finally a baby is born.

Life's Greatest Miracle:
A sequel to the most popular NOVA of all time, "Miracle of Life," this program once again uses the microimagery of Swedish photographer Lennart Nilsson to track human development from embryo to newborn. The program also looks at the latest advances in human understanding of fertilization and embryonic & fetal development.
